We have completed learning how to recognize and write all the capital and lower case letters in our alphabet. This week we take a big step forward in our reading journey. This week begins our weekly focus on one letter sound and one sight word per week.
This week we are focusing on the letter Mm sound and the sight word like. We will be using them to read, write, and share sentences. Keep using those flashcards to master these new sounds. In math we are working on numbers 0-5. We are reading, writing talking about, and sorts groups 0-5. You will be reviewing number 3 in this week's homework packet. Yes, the packet is optional but so helpful! Congratulations to you! You all chipped in and our class raised $220 during the Cash for Kids Drive. While Mrs. Smith's class won the pizza party with over $1,000 donated, our class gets to participate in the popsicle party this Friday. Yay! Thank you for your continued support. |
